Anost est une commune française située dans le département de Saône-et-Loire en région Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.Perché à une altitude de 550 m, le petit village d'Anost se situe au cœur du Haut-Morvan montagnard, plus précisément dans la partie nord de la région du Haut Folin et du Mont Beuvray aux sommets massifs, arrondis ou tabulaires, séparés par des vallées souvent encaissées, à pentes raides.
