Lacroix-Saint-Ouen, également appelée La Croix Saint-Ouen, est une commune française située dans le département de l'Oise en région Hauts-de-France, sur la rive gauche de l'Oise, à 8 km au sud de Compiègne et 75 km au nord de Paris.Ville implantée au sud de Compiègne sur la RD 932a, l'ancienne RN 32, Lacroix-Saint-Ouen est bordée par l'Oise à l'ouest et par la forêt de Compiègne à l'est. La commune comprend, en plus du bourg, un hameau qui se trouve à environ 4 km au nord devant les portes de Compiègne, appelé Mercières-aux-Bois.
