Ce lac, tourbière lacustre, d'une superficie de 10 ha se situe à une altitude de 900m. Un sentier très bien aménagé permet d'en faire le tour. Ce sentier est agrémenté de panneaux pédagogiques sur la formation et la vie des tourbières. Présence de Droséra en bordure de lac (plante insectivore protégée).
