Dieser See, ein Seetorf mit einer Fläche von 10 ha, befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 900 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Ein sehr gut angelegter Pfad ermöglicht es, ihn zu umrunden. Dieser Weg ist mit pädagogischen Schildern über die Entstehung und das Leben in Torfmooren ausgestattet. Vorkommen von Droséra am Seeufer (geschützte insektenfressende Pflanze).
