L'Amoco Cadiz est un pétrolier supertanker de classe VLCC libérien lancé en 1974 pour la société américaine de transports pétroliers et chimiques Amoco afin de transporter du pétrole depuis le golfe Persique vers l'Europe. Son naufrage en mars 1978 en bordure des côtes bretonnes, à Portsall , provoque une marée noire considérée, aujourd'hui encore, comme l'une des pires catastrophes écologiques de l'histoire.
