César a sans doute emprunté la chaussée qui menait d'Amiens au pays des Nerviens et traversait le village... En 853 Charles le Chauve fait construire des manoirs pour protéger la région des envahisseurs normands, le 1er château de Querrieu voit ainsi le jour... En 1636, Corbie est assiégée par d'autres espagnols, ils mettent Querrieu à feu et à sang, y compris le château à peine reconstruit... Le château se transforme, le monde est au romantisme ! Lors de la 1ere guerre, le château est occupé par la 4e armée britannique sous les ordres du Général RAWLINSON. Le 1er juillet 1916, le roi Georges V est à Querrieu avec son état-major et le Maréchal HAIG. Expo "Centenaire de la Grande Guerre"
