In 853 Charles the Bald had manors built to protect the region from Norman invaders, the 1st castle of Querrieu was thus born... In 1636, Corbie is besieged by other Spaniards, they put Querrieu to fire and blood, including the castle hardly rebuilt... The castle is transformed, the world is in the romanticism! During the First World War, the castle was occupied by the 4th British Army under the command of General RAWLINSON. On July 1, 1916, King George V was in Querrieu with his staff and Marshal HAIG.
