Sur les hauteurs de Felletin, dans le quartier de Beaumont, le monument rend hommage aux métiers du bâtiment. On y découvre l’évolution des techniques de construction en pierre sèche. A l’extrémité, une œuvre monumentale proposée par les anciens du Lycée des Métiers du Bâtiment : un monolithe aux dimensions impressionnantes (2.50 m de haut sur 1 m d’envergure à la base, pour un poids de 10 tonnes !). La vue y est imprenable sur le Lycée des Métiers du Bâtiment.
