Auf den Anhöhen von Felletin, im Viertel Beaumont, ist das Denkmal eine Hommage an die Bauberufe. Hier kann man die Entwicklung der Bautechniken mit trockenen Steinen nachvollziehen. Am Ende befindet sich ein monumentales Kunstwerk, das von den Absolventen des Lycée des Métiers du Bâtiment vorgeschlagen wurde: ein Monolith mit beeindruckenden Ausmaßen (2,50 m hoch, 1 m Spannweite an der Basis, Gewicht 10 Tonnen!). Von dort aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Lycée des Métiers du Bâtiment.
