Description

Du haut de ses six mètres, la croix de la place du marché du Malzieu témoigne de la puissance du bourg au XIVe siècle. La présence d’une main bûchée dans le haut du fût sur la face est témoigne également de la vocation de ce monument, croix de justice des barons de Mercœur. Cette croix pourrait datée du XIVe siècle mais aucune mention ne le certifie.
