Le Château Chasse-Spleen constitue depuis quelques années une collection d'art contemporain tournée vers les artistes émergents. Cette collection est le fruit de choix du couple Villars-Foubet, propriétaire des châteaux Chasse-Spleen, Camensac et Gressier Grand Poujeaux.
Dans le parc et le chai, oeuvres permanentes de Felice Varini, Benoit Maire, Liam Gillick Patrick Neu, Morgane Tschiember, Vincent Ganivet, Pierre Labat, Anita Molinero, Guzman et Paeve, Ann Veronica Janssens, Lilian Bourgeat.
La réhabilitation de la charteuse du XVIIIe siècle ouverte au public le 1 juin 2017 a été confié aux architectes Oriane Deville et Céline Petreau. La plus grande partie est consacrée au centre d'art où un artiste invité expose ses œuvres.
