Le village de Bourg est un ancien village construit sur un piton rocheux. Des remparts médiévaux vous admirez les rives de la Dordogne, à deux pas de l'Estuaire de la Gironde. Autour de la place centrale, sur la ville haute, les commerçants se retrouvent tous les dimanches matin pour vous proposer leurs produits du terroir : fromage, viande, poisson et fruits de mer, fruits et légumes.
