Het dorp Bourg is een oud dorp, gebouwd op een rotspunt. Vanaf de middeleeuwse wallen kunt u de oevers van de Dordogne bewonderen, op een steenworp afstand van de monding van de Gironde. Rond het centrale plein, in de bovenstad, komen de winkeliers elke zondagochtend bijeen om u hun streekproducten aan te bieden: kaas, vlees, vis en zeevruchten, fruit en groenten.
