Située sur la place Keufer, ce bâtiment à deux tourelles fut construit à la Renaissance. Il servit de siège à l'administration minière et de mairie à Sainte-Marie Alsace. Dans la tourelle centrale, un bloc de galène argentifère encastré commémore la découverte exceptionnelle d'un bloc d'argent de 600 kg à la fin du 16ème siècle.
