Le moulin du Rat se situe sur la commune de Peyrelevade. Il s'agit en fait d'un moulin siamois, composé de deux moulins possédant chacun leur propre canal d'arrivée d'eau, et séparés par une cloison en pierre. L'un produisait de la farine et l'autre du chanvre. Ce moulin est aujourd'hui à l'état de ruine, mais il a été consolidé afin d'en stopper le délabrement et d'en permettre la visite.
