Blaydon est une gare sur la ligne Tyne Valley, qui relie Newcastle à Carlisle via Hexham. La gare, située à 5 miles et 39 chaînes à l'ouest de Newcastle, dessert la ville de Blaydon, Gateshead dans le Tyne et Wear, en Angleterre. Elle est la propriété de Network Rail et est gérée par Northern Trains.
La chemin de fer de Newcastle et Carlisle a été constitué en 1829 et a été ouvert par phases. La gare a ouvert en mars 1835, suite au début des trains de passagers entre Blaydon et Hexham. Initialement servant de terminus est de la ligne, des services directs vers Redheugh ont commencé en mars 1837.
