Le Tarn de Lanty est un lac dans le Lake District, Cumbria, Angleterre. Le lac, situé à l'extrémité sud du lac Ullswater, à l'ouest de Patterdale, est nommé d'après le propriétaire d'origine Launcelet Dobson, qui vivait à la ferme voisine Grasswaite Howe. Le lac est ensuite devenu la propriété des propriétaires de Patterdale Hall. Les nouveaux propriétaires ont construit un barrage et ont ainsi fait monter le lac pour qu'il puisse être utilisé comme étang à poissons. En hiver, le lac servait à constituer une réserve de glace dans un cellier à glace situé dans le barrage du lac.
