Les seules restes en pierre de cet immense stade se trouvent du côté le plus éloigné. Lors de la promenade 8, nous passons encore par là. Cet espace ouvert est encore souvent utilisé aujourd'hui pour toutes sortes d'événements : concerts, manifestations sportives, foires alimentaires, évocations historiques...
