Arco est une commune italienne d'environ 17 000 habitants située dans la province autonome de Trente dans la région autonome du Trentin-Haut-Adige dans le nord-est de l'Italie. Elle fait partie du comprensorio Alto Garda e Ledro.
Le cœur historique d'Arco forme un arc autour d'un rocher calcaire façonné par d'anciens glaciers sur lequel trônent les ruines du château dans un paysage escarpé et suggestif. Le rocher du château s'abrite derrière la « forteresse » rocheuse du Mont Colodri.
