La qualité du paysage, tant du centre urbain que de ses alentours, ont valu à la ville le surnom de « perle du Sannio » ; elle a été récompensée par le drapeau orange du Touring club d'Italie, qui a d'ailleurs classé son centre parmi les plus beaux bourgs d'Italie .
