Dès que Christina eut traversé le Tibre à Borghetto, elle tourna à droite : avec une petite partie de son entourage elle se dirigea vers l'ouest pour visiter le palais Farnèse à Caprarola et le château de Paolo Giordano Orsini II à Bracciano. Le reste du cortège s'est dirigé vers le sud le long de la Via Lauretana. Le tableau de Hendrik Frans van Lint (1684-1763) représente Borghetto. Aujourd'hui, le château de Borghetto est en ruines.
