Dans le village se trouve le moulin à grain De Zwaan. Le village a une longue histoire. L'ancienne église néerlandaise réformée du 14ème siècle se trouve à un endroit mentionné dans un document de 893 parmi les biens de Prüm en Eifel. Les biens de Prüm ont été vendus en 1609 par les États de Gueldre au Comte Ernst Casimir de Nassau-Dietz.
