Varsselder est un village néerlandais de près de 700 habitants, situé dans la Achterhoek Gelderlandaise, dans la commune d'Oude IJsselstreek. Le village se trouve le long de la route principale de 's-Heerenberg à Ulft, directement à l'ouest d'Ulft. Jusqu'à la réorganisation municipale, il faisait partie de l'ancienne commune de Gendringen. Avec le hameau voisin de Veldhunten, il est souvent considéré comme un seul village, Varsselder-Veldhunten. Ce sont cependant deux noyaux séparés. Varsselder est mentionné comme hameau dès le 15e siècle.
Depuis 1989, le festival Huntenpop a lieu chaque année en août. Cet événement est organisé par la Fondation Huntenpop Belangen. C'est un festival de musique pop avec des groupes néerlandais et internationaux. Depuis 2009, le festival Huntenpop se tient à Ulft.
