La Maison Ronde était un manoir rond qui se trouvait dans les forêts près de Nunspeet dans la région de Zandenbos. Elle a été démolie en 1967, mais des traces en sont encore visibles dans le paysage. En 1902, Frank van Vloten a acheté auprès des héritiers de W.J. Lagerweij un morceau de forêt et de landes au sud de Nunspeet d'une superficie de 360 hectares. Il était le fils du philosophe Johannes van Vloten, ingénieur en électrotechnique, et marié à une femme aisée. Sur le domaine, Frank van Vloten a fait construire la Maison Ronde. La première pierre a été posée le 25 juin 1906.
