Le Mirnser Klif est une colline de gravier argileux dans la région frisonne de Gaasterland au sud du village de Mirns. Le relief s'est formé durant le Saalien par l'avancée des glaces terrestres et constituait un rempart naturel contre les eaux de la mer de Zuiderzee et aujourd'hui encore contre celles du IJsselmeer. La hauteur moyenne est de 2,50 mètres au-dessus du NAP.
