Le Waalbrug est un pont en arc sur la Waal qui relie le centre de Nimègue à Lent. Le pont fait partie de la N325 et de la route urbaine S100. Deux kilomètres plus à l'ouest se trouve le pont urbain De Oversteek, ouvert en 2013. La longueur totale du Waalbrug est de 604 mètres, et la hauteur, au centre de l'arc principal, est d'environ 60 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. L'arc couvre une distance de 244,1 mètres entre les deux piliers et était donc, lors de son achèvement en 1936, le plus long pont en arc d'Europe. Jusqu'à environ le revêtement de la route, l'arc s'alignait géométriquement avec un segment de cercle d'un rayon de 200 mètres.
