La station se trouve entre le nouveau quartier de Stevenshof à Leiden et le quartier Noord-Hofland à Voorschoten, à presque 3 kilomètres de la gare de Leiden Centraal et à 2 kilomètres de la gare de Voorschoten. La station est située à une limite communale : les voies en direction de La Haye se trouvent sur le territoire de la commune de Leiden, tandis que celles en direction de Leiden sont dans la commune de Voorschoten.
