L'Aula est notamment utilisée pour les promotions de l'Université de Wageningen. Ce bâtiment est l'un des lieux où la signature de la capitulation par les Allemands a pu avoir lieu. Dans l'aula se trouve une plaque commémorative à la mémoire des assistants et des étudiants qui ont péri durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
