La statue du Sacré-Cœur est une sculpture à Ossendrecht
En 1933, le curé A.M. Vermunt de l'église Sainte-Gertrude a célébré son jubilé de prêtre d'argent. Il a reçu de la part des paroissiens une statue du Sacré-Cœur.
La statue a été réalisée dans l'atelier J.W. Ramakers et Fils à Geleen.
Elle a été dévoilée le 26 août 1934, ce jour-là, la paroisse Gertrudis a célébré son centenaire.
Le monument est constitué d'un groupe de statues ; au centre se trouve une figure du Christ vêtue d'un drapé, avec le Sacré-Cœur visible sur sa poitrine.
Il lève les mains en bénédiction au-dessus d'un homme à genoux avec une pelle à sa droite et une femme à genoux avec un jeune enfant à sa gauche.
