Le Cauberg à Valkenburg est sans conteste le monument cycliste le plus célèbre des Pays-Bas. De nombreux championnats et courses de coupe du monde y ont été décidés. C'est pourquoi Limburgs Mooiste inclut parfois cette montée dans son programme, car la route est fréquentée et peu attrayante, et ne s'intègre donc pas bien dans l'ambiance que Limburgs Mooiste offre à ses participants. En 2023, la montée est incluse dans le parcours de la Boucle Rouge. Le Cauberg mesure 850 mètres de long avec un pourcentage de pente moyen de 7,5 % et un maximum de 11,8 %.
