Le château était situé entre la rue Sint Adriaan, la rue Wijngaard, la rue Oostendestraat et la rue Singel dans le centre de Goes. Une ancienne salle du château fait partie de l'actuel 5 Singelstraat, un monument national. Une ancienne tour a également été intégrée dans le bâtiment actuel. En 2009, la municipalité a décidé de faire exposer davantage de vestiges du château. Entre-temps, des fouilles expérimentales ont été réalisées, mettant au jour des éléments encore inconnus du château, comme une tour ronde jusqu'alors inconnue.
