El castillo estaba situado entre la calle Sint Adriaanstraat, la calle Wijngaardstraat, la calle Oostendestraat y la calle Singelstraat en el centro de Goes. Una antigua sala del castillo forma parte del actual Singelstraat 5, un monumento nacional. También se ha incluido una antigua torre en la construcción actual. En 2009, el municipio decidió desenterrar más restos del castillo. Hasta ahora se han realizado excavaciones de prueba en las que se han descubierto elementos desconocidos de la fortaleza, como una torre redonda que hasta entonces no se conocía.
