Le musée Stadt Appingedam est un musée régional d'histoire et de culture à Appingedam, dans la province de Groningue. Le musée a été fondé en 1942 à l'initiative de l'avocat damster et homme politique local, M. A.T. Vos, sous le nom de Musée historique régional d'Appingedam. En 1953, il a été ouvert dans la Oude Kerkstraat, au coin de la Wijkstraat. Plus tard, le musée a été logé dans le bâtiment Blankenstein, une maison noble située un peu plus à l'ouest, que le musée partageait avec la Nordelijke Kunsthof, une galerie qui y est encore installée.
