Jah-Jireh est une initiative privée et ne fait pas partie de la communauté chrétienne des Témoins de Jéhovah aux Pays-Bas, ni liée à d'autres initiatives dans le domaine de l'hébergement et des soins en dehors de ses propres établissements à Rotterdam, Wageningen et Heerlen.
Le bâtiment actuel date de 1972 et a été mis en service en tant que complexe résidentiel et de soins pour 130 personnes âgées indonésiennes et moluccanes. Le complexe a été nommé Dennenrust.
Le complexe est inclus dans le parcours à vélo 'Indische sporen in het Wageningse', une publication de l'association historique Oud Wageningen.
