Lexmond est un village de la commune de Vijfheerenlanden dans la province d'Utrecht. Le village est né à l'embouchure de la Laak, un ruisseau qui vers l'an 1000 reliait la Zederik au Lek. Le mot Lexmond signifie donc embouchure de la Laak et non pas embouchure du Lek.
