La place Waterland est la place centrale et le centre commercial de quartier du quartier Waterlandpleinbuurt, situé à Amsterdam-Nord. La place se trouve au nord de la Werengouw, au sud de l'IJdoornlaan, à l'ouest de la Volendammerweg et à l'est de la Beverwijkstraat.
La place a été achevée à la fin des années soixante et se composait de bâtiments de grande hauteur avec des magasins en dessous et des pavillons de magasins bas entre les deux. La place a été nommée le 30 octobre 1963 par une décision du conseil en l'honneur de l'eau située au nord d'Amsterdam. Avant les travaux de rénovation, la ligne de bus 33 avait son terminus entre la place et la Beverwijkstraat.
