Une tour d'observation de 33 m de haut en forme de tronc de pin avec des plateformes d'observation comme des branches. Elle se trouve sur la Bosberg, le point le plus élevé des terres frisonnes. Les billets peuvent être achetés sur www.debosbergtoren.nl.
Dans la tour, il y a un escalier en acier, ou vous pouvez prendre l'ascenseur. En haut, une vue fantastique vous attend ! Par temps clair, vous pouvez voir Leeuwarden, Groningen, Assen et Coevorden. Vous atteignez cette tour par un chemin de sable avec des escaliers depuis la Bosbergweg ou par un chemin pavé en pente depuis la Boerestreek, accessible aussi en fauteuil roulant. Les horaires d'ouverture varient selon la saison.
