Joachimstein est un ancien domaine de Haute-Lusace qui comprenait des terres, des bâtiments d'exploitation agricole, le manoir de Tauchritz, et le château de Joachimstein, appelé aujourd'hui château de Radomierzyce, du nom du village, appelé avant 1945 Radmeritz et aujourd'hui polonais, dont il dépend. Il fait partie de la commune de Zgorzelec, partie orientale de Görlitz devenue polonaise en 1945. Le château, entouré d'un parc, a été restauré en 2003 pour être transformé en hôtel.
C'est en 1722 que Joachim Sigismund von Ziegler , chambellan d'Auguste le Fort, acquiert le domaine pour la couronne de Saxe. L'ancien Wasserschloss de Radmeritz est démoli pour laisser la place à un château baroque, selon les plans de Johann Friedrich Karcher et de Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann qui est solennellement inauguré le 14 novembre 1728.
