Space Mountain est l'une des attractions phares des parcs à thèmes de Disney. Elle a été reproduite dans chacun des Royaumes enchantés , dans le land futuriste Tomorrowland – Discoveryland.
Il s'agit d'une attraction de montagnes russes enfermées simulant un voyage dans l'espace intersidéral. La première version de l'attraction a ouvert en 1974 à Magic Kingdom, à Orlando . Le concept a été simplifié pour Disneyland en 1977, puis ce dernier a été reproduit à Tokyo Disneyland en 1983. Un tout nouveau Space Mountain a ouvert au Parc Disneyland en 1995, puis le Space Mountain originel simplifié fut reproduit à Hong Kong Disneyland en 2005.
