Le vol Fine Air 101 était un vol cargo régulier de l'aéroport international de Miami à destination de l'aéroport international Las Américas, en République dominicaine, exploité par Douglas DC-8 , qui s'est écrasé après le décollage le 7 août 1997 à l'aéroport de Miami. Les 4 personnes à bord et une personne au sol ont été tuées.
L’avion impliqué dans l’accident était un Douglas DC-8-61F âgé de 29 ans, immatriculé N27UA, exploité par Fine Air et totalisant 46 825 heures de vol,.
