La place Saint-Pierre est une grande esplanade, d'architecture baroque, située devant la basilique Saint-Pierre, au Vatican, dont elle constitue en quelque sorte le parvis, présentant sa façade sur son côté ouest. C'est là que se tient la foule lors des grandes fêtes religieuses célébrées par le pape, comme la bénédiction urbi et orbi.
