L'aeroporto di Tirana è l'unico aeroporto internazionale dell'Albania. Situato a Rinas, è conosciuto internazionalmente con il nome commerciale di Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza essendo intitolato alla santa albanese Madre Teresa di Calcutta.
Volano dall'aeroporto le compagnie: Air Albania, Alitalia, British Airways, Austrian Airlines, Adria Airways, Jetairfly, Lufthansa, Olympic Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Blue Panorama Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Ernest Airlines, Albawings, Wizz Air, Mistral Air, Transavia mentre i voli dell'Albanian Airlines sono attualmente sospesi per effetto della revoca della licenza da parte dell'Autorità per l'Aviazione Civile albanese.
