Gmünd in Kärnten è un comune austriaco di 2 603 abitanti nel distretto di Spittal an der Drau, in Carinzia; ha lo status di città . Nel 1868 ha inglobato le località di Reitern e Sankt Nikolai, fino ad allora parte del comune di Rennweg am Katschberg, e nel 1872 dal suo territorio è stato scorporato quello del nuovo comune di Kremsbrücke, nel 1973 confluito in quello di Krems in Kärnten.
