La chiesa parrocchiale di Ebelsberg si trova nel quartiere di Linz Ebelsberg in Alta Austria. La chiesa parrocchiale romana cattolica di san Giovanni Battista appartiene al decanato di Linz-Sud nella diocesi di Linz. La chiesa è protetta come monumento. Dal 1250 Ebelsberg è una parrocchia autonoma, che appartiene all'abbazia di San Floriano. Nel 1263 la chiesa viene menzionata esplicitamente per la prima volta. Nel 1778 Kleinmünchen diventa una filiale di Ebelsberg, diventando parrocchia autonoma nel 1892. Nel 1787 il cimitero parrocchiale, originariamente situato accanto alla chiesa, è stato trasferito nella posizione attuale. Nel 1809 la chiesa è stata distrutta durante la battaglia di Ebelsberg dalle truppe di Napoleone a causa di un incendio che ha colpito l'intero mercato di Ebelsberg. Nel 1829 la chiesa parrocchiale ricostruita è stata consacrata dal vescovo Gregor Thomas Ziegler.
