Per questo avvincente tour per MTB di difficoltà media nel parco nazionale degli Alti Tauri partite da Hinterbichl. Il percorso di 15 chilometri su asfalto e ghiaia conduce in 2 ore e mezza alla malga gestita Johannishütte.
Dal Gasthof Islitzer il percorso porta su una strada asfaltata in direzione Groderhof. All'ultima curva a sinistra continuare dritto e poi sul ponte in direzione Wiesenkreuz (barra). Girare poi a sinistra e continuare via il ponte Venedigerbrücke e per tornanti ripidi fino alla croce Gumpachkreuz (1.884 metri). Da lì si continua in lieve salita e oltrepassando il rifugio Ochsnerhütte fino alla meta del tour, il rifugio Johannishütte.
