Il Muro, conosciuto anche come il Muro-Kapelmuur, era un punto di riferimento come penultima salita nella corsa ciclistica Ronde van Vlaanderen dal 1973 al 2011. Il Muro è una strada in selciato sull'Oudenberg, la collina su cui si affaccia il centro città di Geraardsbergen. Nel 1940 l'Oudenberg è stato protetto come paesaggio e nel 1995 la famosa strada in selciato è stata dichiarata monumento. Il Muro può essere presentato per tutti i tipi: punto di vista ciclistico più bello, tratto di selciato spietato e la salita più ripida
