Da questa stazione c'è una diramazione lungo la linea ferroviaria 49 verso la stazione di Eupen e lungo la linea ferroviaria 39, utilizzata esclusivamente per il trasporto merci, verso la stazione di Montzen.
La stazione dispone di strutture per i madrelingua tedeschi. L'attuale edificio della stazione è stato inaugurato nel 1998. La stazione si trova al punto più alto della linea ferroviaria 37, sul confine idrografico tra Vesder e Geul.
