Desde esta estación hay una ramificación a lo largo de la línea ferroviaria 49 hacia la estación de Eupen y a lo largo de la línea ferroviaria 39, utilizada únicamente para el transporte de mercancías, hacia la estación de Montzen.
La estación cuenta con instalaciones para hablantes de alemán. El edificio actual de la estación fue inaugurado en 1998. La estación se encuentra en el punto más alto de la línea ferroviaria 37, en la divisoria de aguas entre Vesder y Geul.
