Il bosco di Anlier, che si estende su 5500 ettari, è uno dei più importanti del Belgio e si trova a sud-ovest di Martelange. Nell'unica grande radura si trovano quattro villaggi: Anlier, Vlessart, Behême e Louftémont. Questo bosco è un residuo della gigantesca foresta di faggio che un tempo copriva le Ardenne e in cui crescevano anche querce, carpini e, sulle pendici della valle meridionale, il caratteristico peperoncino. Le principali specie di alberi che puoi trovare ora sono: castagno, platano, carpino, quercia, faggio, betulla, acero, olmo, castagno indiano, abete rosso, pino silvestre, larice giapponese, falsa acacia, pioppo, noce, nocciolo, tiglio e salice. E inoltre anche un tesoro di specie di cespugli, tra cui nocciolo, agrifoglio, biancospino, sorbo e corniolo.
