Il Sint-Katelijneplein è una piazza nella capitale belga Bruxelles. Si trova nel quartiere Dansaert sul lato ovest del Boulevard Anspach. A sud-ovest c'è l'Oude Graanmarkt.
La piazza è stata istituita intorno al 1870 sull'ex Sint-Katelijnedock. È stato il primo molo che è stato riempito già nel 1853, quando le attività nel porto di Bruxelles hanno iniziato a diminuire. Pertanto, è stata costruita una piazza nello spazio disponibile, ma è stata anche costruita una chiesa: la Sint-Katelijnekerk. Il giovane architetto Joseph Poelaert ha provato qualcosa di molto nuovo in questo edificio: ha incorporato una miscela di stili diversi. Non tutti hanno trovato il risultato altrettanto riuscito. Ecco perché gli esperti a volte si riferiscono alla Sint-Katelijnekerk come al 'giovane peccato di Poelaert'. L'edificio del XIX secolo con la sua torre distintiva è aperto tutti i giorni dalle 8:30 alle 18:00.
